Oh No, not my tomatos. After weeks of rain now. I must say so long to the beautiful tomatos. After all the rain it was more than they could take. Still more rain in the forcast. As I picked every last green tomato off the dead bush. I couldn’t help it. My thoughts,,,yes it’s sad. It’s times like these we must continure to count our blessing. My way of looking at it is. …Thank God, I like Fried Green Tomatos!

I feel your pain. That was a lot of rain. Looks like my Mortgage lifter tomatoes are going to bite the dust.
I’ve never tried fried green tomatoes. Keep me posted.

Thanks for your comment. I am blessed it was only 6 tomato bushes. I can only imagine how farmers with a large crop of tomatos must feel right now. Especially when they were depending on their crops. My prayers go out to them. I can feel their heart sick pain right now. Many Farmers here in Florida are still loosing their crops due to all this rain. We must keep them in our prayers. Thanks again on your comment. TBerry

That is devastating! I know how you feel. Last year I lost my entire garden to hail. Gardening is not for the faint of heart! So sorry.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I feel blessed that I only lost my tomatos and the rest of my garden is hanging in there. I could only imagine if I had lost my entire garden to a hail storm. Right now I have more tomato plants to set out and start over. The only thing is, there’s still rain in the forcast. So keep me in your prayers. TBerry
